Eclair War

On May 10, 1940, the German Army Groups A and B began their invasion of Belgium and the Netherlands. 
The Allies, who determined that this was an offensive based on the Schlieffen Plan, established a defensive line along the Dyle River in Belgium as planned. 

However, the main German force, the armored forces of Army Group A, broke through the Ardennes Forest, contrary to Allied expectations,
advanced behind the Allied forces, and quickly pushed through northern France toward the English Channel. 

The Rise of Blitzkrieg simulates the fall of France. One player is the Germans, the other the Allies, and the game begins with operational plans.
